The Academy at College Park

The Academy at College Park attracts top-notch students with the state-of-the-art video system that offered at The Academy. PGA Pro Steve Ridge provides expert instruction. PGA and Champions Tour veterans Larry Nelson and Joe Inman work to raise funds for the Academy through the Nelson/Inman Foundation. College Park Municipal Golf Course, managed by John Griffin, and the City of College Park and its Recreation Department have built a facility that is offering golf instruction free to every child that has a College Park address.

Early Success Stories

• Mohogany Elbert is a 16-year old junior golfer who consistently shooting in the low 40s for nine holes this summer. She also finished in the top five three times this summer in the Georgia State Junior Golf Program.
• Lorenzo Elbert is a 7-year old junior golfer playing in the winter US Kids Golf Tournament Program. He has one victory and four third-place finishes.
• Paden Holeman has one top five finish in the Georgia State Junior Golf Program.
• Seldon Allen has one top five finish in the Georgia State Junior Golf Program.
